| The Grass Valley Police Department disbanded its Public Safety Dispatch Center effective November 1, 2012 and contracted with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office for dispatch services. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Grass Valley Police Department has requested to remove their Public Safety Dispatch Center from the POST Public Safety Dispatcher Reimbursable Program. |
| ANALYSIS: |
| Grass Valley Police Department disbanded its Communication Center effective November 1, 2012 and now contracts with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office for its dispatch services. |
| RECOMMENDATION: |
| The Commission is advised that the Grass Valley Police Department's Public Safety Dispatcher Center is removed from the POST Public Safety Dispatcher Reimbursable Program. |
