ISSUE:
The Marin County Health & Human Services is seeking entry into the POST Non-Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for its peace officers.
BACKGROUND:
The Marin County Health & Human Services Agency has requested to participate in the POST Non-Reimbursable Program pursuant to Penal Code 13510(a) and 13522.  The agency has agreed to abide by POST Regulations. An Ordinance of the Marin County Board of Supervisors was adopted May 8, 2007 as required by Penal Code Section 13522.
ANALYSIS:
The agency presently employs three full-time investigators.  The investigators have completed the appropriate basic training.
RECOMMENDATION:

The Commission is advised that the Marin County Health & Human Services Agency Investigators have been accepted into the POST Non-Reimbursable Program.
