The last time there was an increase in the Basic Course Driver Training was August 2013. Since then, the costs for vehicle maintenance, fuel, and instructor fees have significantly increased. The proposed contracts will increase the cost per student from $1,000.00 to $1,500.00. The overall contracted amount proposed for Fiscal Year 2019-20 will increase $1,289,500.00 to a total of $3,868,500.00. (see Attachment A)
