Law Enforcement services for Los Angeles City Housing Authority were transferred to the Los Angeles Police Department in late 2004.  Los Angeles City Housing Authority will be formally released from the POST Reimbursable Program.

Training Delivery and Compliance staff received an inquiry from the field questioning if this agency was still a part of the POST program.  It has been determined this agency was never formally removed from the POST Program.  Specifically, on or about July 2004, POST received written notification from the Office of the City Administrative Officer to the Los Angeles Mayor regarding the disbandment of the agency.  Due to an administrative oversight at that time, POST Electronic Data Interchange records were not changed accordingly and the Commission was not notified.  This agenda item corrects the administrative oversight by providing notification to the Commission.
