ISSUE:
BACKGROUND:

A De-escalation summit will be held the week of October 14-17 in San Diego.  The summit has invited 80 individuals from across California and the United States to collaborate on "best practices" for de-escalation. 

Four topics were incorporated:

  • Education/Training
  • Communication Training
  • Tactics Training
  • Policy & Best Practices
