ISSUE:
San Bernardino County Human Services has entered into the POST Non-Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for its peace officers. 
BACKGROUND:
San Bernardino County Human Services has requested to participate in the POST Non-Reimbursable Program pursuant to Penal Code 13510(a) and 13522.  The agency has agreed to abide by POST Regulations.  A Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County was adopted December 17, 2019 as required by Penal Code 13522. 
ANALYSIS:
The agency presently employs twenty (20) full-time investigators.  The investigators have completed the appropriate basic training. 
RECOMMENDATION:

The Commission is advised that San Bernardino County Human Services has been accepted into the POST Non-Reimbursable Program. 

The report is presented for information only.  No action is required.
