ISSUE:
The Brentwood Public Safety Dispatch Department has entered into the POST Reimbursable Program for its dispatchers. 
BACKGROUND:
The Brentwood Public Safety Dispatch Department has requested to participate in the POST Reimbursable Program pursuant to Penal Code 13510(a) and 13522.  The agency has agreed to abide by POST Regulations.  A Resolution by the City Council of the City of Brentwood was adopted on May 8, 2018 as required by Penal Code 13522. 
ANALYSIS:

The agency presently employs thirteen (13) dispatchers.  

 

 
RECOMMENDATION:

The Commission is advised that the Brentwood Public Safety Dispatch Department has been accepted into the POST Reimbursable Program for their dispatchers. 

The report is presented for information only.  No action is required.
