The report will include, but not be limited to:
- Transition of POST staff to Telework to maintain government operations.
- Current status of suspended, cancelled, or delayed training presentations.
- Impact on agency regulatory compliance.
- Development of regulatory protocols to assist law enforcement with emergency staffing and hiring needs.
- Coordination with Governor’s Office for Executive Order authority to address COVID-19 specific law enforcement challenges.
- Communication to the field and generation of POST Bulletins.
- Collaboration with training presenters to evaluate online and/or hybrid training platforms as applicable.
- Preliminary plans for a gradual return to onsite employee work assignments for POST staff.
- Plans to address employee and health concerns and workplace safety.
- Preliminary discussions regarding service to the field in a post-COVID-19 world.
