APPROVAL OF ACTION SUMMARY AND MINUTES
1.Approval of the Action Summary and Minutes of the previous Committee meeting.
If the Finance Committee concurs, the appropriate action would be a MOTION to approve the Action Summary and Meeting Minutes from the last Finance meeting.
BUDGETS
2.Report on Budget for FY 2018/19
Governor Brown issued the Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget for the State of California on July 1, 2018 (Attachment A).  POST FY 2018-19 budget was restored at the same funding level as FY 2017-18 in the amount of $47.2 M, which includes the BCP for Training Enhancement Programs, that allows POST to restore SLI, ICI, and Command College courses.
3.Report on Expenditures
The Commission on POST receives monthly updates from the State Controller’s Office on expenditures and the remaining balances. This report notates expenditures through September 30, 2018. (Attachment A)
4.Report on Reimbursements
In Fiscal Year 2018-19, POST does not have any reimbursement contracts.
5.Report on Contract Enhancements

POST Fiscal Year 2018-19 Training Contracts approved by the Commission during the February 2018 Committee Meeting (ATTACHMENT A).  Based on the approved BCP, additional funding provided restoration to SLI, ICI and Command College courses in the amount of $3.4 M.

 

If the Committee concurs, the appropriate action would be a RECOMMENDATION to approve the report to the Commission at its meeting on October 18, 2018 in West Sacramento, CA.
