APPROVAL OF ACTION SUMMARY AND MINUTES
1.Approval of the Action Summary and Minutes of the previous Committee meeting.
If the Finance Committee concurs, the appropriate action would be a MOTION to approve the Action Summary and Meeting Minutes from the last Finance meeting.
BUDGETS
2.Report on Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20
The Governor issued his proposed Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget for the State of California on January 14, 2019. The Commission's proposed Budget totals $81,363,000. A comparison between this and the Enacted Budget of Fiscal Year 2018-19 can be observed in (Attachment A).
3.Proposed Contracts for Fiscal Year 2019-20

The POST Fiscal Year 2018-19 Training Contract Balances can be observed in (ATTACHMENT A).  These are based on the approved BCP, additional funding provided restoration to SLI, ICI and Command College courses in the amount of $3.4 M. Within the attachment are the POST Fiscal Year 2019-20 Training Contract Proposals for the February 2019 Committee Meeting. These are based on the Proposed FY2019-20 Budget.

4.Report on Budget Expenditures and Remaining Balances for Fiscal Year 2018-19

The Commission on POST receives monthly updates from the State Controller's Office on expenditures and remaining balances.  This report notates actual expenditures for Fiscal Year 2018-19.

5.Report on Request to Renew Contracts for Fiscal Year 2019-20

If the Committee concurs, the appropriate action would be a MOTION to recommend the Commission approve the recurring contracts for FY 2019-20.

 

Each year POST Finance Committee reviews and makes recommendations for the Commission on Recurring Contracts.  A summary list of the proposed contracts is attached.
