Approval of the Action Summary and Minutes of the previous Committee meeting.
If the Committee Concurs, the appropriate action would be a MOTION to approve the Action Summary and Meeting Minutes from the last Commission meeting.

C.REVIEW OF COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA
Assistant Executive Director will call for the Review of the Commission Meeting Agenda.

The Advisory Committee Chair will ask for Old Business.
  • Professor Kathy Oborn, President, California Association of Administration of Justice Educators (CAAJE), has requested appointment to the Advisory Committee replacing Brad Young.
H.NEW BUSINESS
The Advisory Committee Chair will ask for New Business.
  • W.A. Stanley, Commissioner, California Highway Patrol (CHP) has nominated Chief Ryan Okashima for appointment to the Advisory Committee.

  • Greg Garner, California Police Chiefs' Association (CPCA), is up for reappointment.  Current term expires August 2019.

  • Elmo Banning, Public Member, is up for reappointment.  Current term expires October 2019.

  • Alex Bernard, Public Member, is up for reappointment.  Current term expires October 2019.

 

  • Marcelo Blanco, PORAC, is up for reappointment.  Current term expires October 2019.

 

  • CADA Leadership Team has recommended Damien Sandoval for appointment to the Advisory Committee to replace Lanny Brown whose current term expires July 2019.

 

  • Randy Waltz, CAPTO representative, is up for reappointment.  Current term expires September 2019.
