ICI provides cutting-edge training to prepare investigators to meet and manage the challenges of conducting complex criminal investigations. In compliance with P.C. 13519.9, the program consists of an 80-hour core investigations course, 14 foundation specialty courses (e.g., Sexual Assault Investigation, Child Abuse Investigation, Officer Involved Shootings, and Terrorism) and a series of elective investigative courses.
The Institute will include the use of eight approved contract presenters located around the state. This training is offered without tuition cost for participants in the POST Reimbursable Program.
