ISSUE:
The Yuba County District Attorney's Office is seeking entry into POST Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for its investigators.
BACKGROUND:
The Yuba County District Attorney's Office has requested to participate in the POST Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for its investigators, pursuant to Penal Code 13510(a) and 13524.  The agency has agreed to abide by POST regulations.  An Ordinance of the Board of Yuba County was adopted on August 9, 2016, as required by Penal Code Section 13522.
ANALYSIS:

The agency presently employs one (1) peace officer.

Fiscal impact for reimbursement of training would consist of reimbursement for CPT for one (1) peace officer.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission is advised that the Yuba County District Attorney's Office has been accepted into the POST Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for their investigators.
