| Should the Commission approve direct referencing of POST regulations to the California Code of Regulations? |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This endeavor will allow for easier access to the current regulations by linking PAM references directly to the California Code of Regulations (CCR/WestLaw) webpages. The training procedures would be incorporated into the appropriate regulation page on the POST Internet Website to make it easier for stakeholders and the public to access the most current regulation updates and not be confused by outdated pages of the PAM on the POST Internet Website, which does not provide an obvious correlation to the CCR's. |

| POST staff believe this restructuring will be beneficial for all stakeholders, including agencies in the field, the public, and POST. |
| RECOMMENDATION: |
| Staff recommends the Commission approve direct referencing of POST regulations to the California Code of Regulations. |
