ISSUE:
Kingsburg Police Department Public Safety Access Point/Dispatch Center has merged with Fresno County Sheriff's Department effective March 19, 2016.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Kingsburg Police Department and the Fresno County Sheriff's Office have an agreement for the Fresno County Sheriff's Office to provide law enforcement dispatch and 911 answering responsibilities for the citizens of Kingsburg.  Kingsburg Police Department Dispatch (Public Safety Access) will be formally released from the POST Reimbursable Program.
ANALYSIS:
Training Delivery and Compliance staff confirmed by way of letter received on September 26, 2018 from Neil Dadian, Chief of Police with City of Kingsburg Police Department indicating the dispatch services will no longer be used and the dispatch portion of the organization will be dissolved.
