ISSUE:
Oakland Unified School District Police Department has disbanded effective January 11, 2021. 
BACKGROUND:
Oakland Unified School District Police Department has been disbanded and any services for the Oakland school district are now provided by the Oakland Police Department. 
ANALYSIS:
Chief Jeff Godown with the Oakland Unified School District Police Department informed POST the department has disbanded and this has been documented with a formal letter to POST.  
RECOMMENDATION:
This item is informational only.  There is no need for the Commission to take any action.
