ISSUE:
Rio Vista Police Department has been disbanded effective May 27, 2021. 
BACKGROUND:

Rio Vista Police Department currently has no Police Chief and the agency has dissolved.  The City of Rio Vista has a permanent contract with Solano County Sheriff's Office to cover police services.  Rio Vista Police Department will be formally released from the POST Reimbursable Program.  
ANALYSIS:
Training Delivery and Compliance staff has confirmed by way of e-mail on May 27, 2021 from Chief Jon Mazer with Rio Vista Police Department, advising law enforcement services will no longer be provided, and the agency has dissolved. 
RECOMMENDATION:
This item is presented for information only.  No action is required of the Commission.
