ISSUE:
The Solano Community College Department of Public Safety has entered into the POST Reimbursable Peace Officer Program for its peace officers.  
BACKGROUND:
The Solano Community College Department of Public Safety has entered into the POST Reimbursable Program pursuant to Penal Code Sections 13510(a) and 13522. The agency has agreed to abide by POST Commission Regulations. A letter of intent has been received from Chief Brian Travis, as well as a copy of the Solano Community College District Governing Board Resolution.   
ANALYSIS:
The agency presently employees one (1) full-time peace officer. The officer has completed the appropriate basic training. 
RECOMMENDATION:

The Commission is advised that the Solano Community College Department of Public Safety has been accepted into the POST Reimbursable Program.

This is informational only, and no action is required of the Commission.
